Photography found me long before Two Suns Photography did. My journey behind the lens started during my time in the military, where I spent years capturing photography, videography, and edited footage in environments that demanded precision under pressure. There was no room for a second take, no luxury of perfect lighting or a relaxed subject. You learned to see the moment as it happened and trust your instincts to capture it right the first time. That training shaped the way I still work today: fast, focused, and locked in on what actually matters in the frame.
When I transitioned out of that world, I carried those same habits into civilian life, first into project management and public service, and eventually back to where my passion always was, behind the camera. Founding Two Suns Photography let me combine everything I had learned along the way: the discipline to deliver consistently, the technical skill to edit with precision, and a genuine love for helping people see themselves and their milestones the way they deserve to be seen.
The name Two Suns reflects that duality. It is the balance between structure and creativity, between the technical demands of the craft and the emotional weight of the moments I get to be part of. Whether I am photographing a wedding, a family portrait, or a corporate event, I approach every session the same way I approached my work in the field: with attention to detail, respect for the people in front of me, and a commitment to delivering results people can count on.
